Up Your Arts (UYA) submitted a third memorandum of understanding for review during the May 12th Southport Board of Alderman meeting as the nonprofit moves forward with its plans to renovate the Old Brunswick County Courthouse/City Hall on More Street.
The Southport Plein Air Festival, hosted by Up Your Arts and the City of Southport, welcomed over 70 artists to paint the town, literally.

The Up Your Arts Open Doors Project Final Reunion Tour Gala was held at the Brunswick Community College Southport Campus on March 27 with live and silent auctions, live entertainment, food and drinks, with proceeds benefitting Up Your Arts programs including the “Save the Hall, Y’all” campaign to convert the old Southport city hall into a center for the arts.

The doors at the heart of the “Southport, Open Your Doors!” project by Up Your Arts recently went on tour again after being displayed last fall at downtown retail stores. They are publicly accessible and located in 11 different offices throughout the downtown area.
