Up Your Arts invites you to celebrate our "Raise Up Your Arts" pole banner project stars
and dance with 2023 Maggie Award winning band LunaSea!

Featuring

Come dance to the fabulous sounds of LunaSea from 4-7pm on April 22 at Up Your Arts’ 2nd Annual Cool & Fancy Gala -- beer, wine, delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts from Middle of the Island Catering await in Hanger #70E at the Cape Fear Regional Jetport!

The winners of our “Raise Up Your Arts” pole banner project will be showcased along with their banners, seen for the first time in public before they are installed on utility poles in Southport’s business district. Many thanks to the City of Southport and Downtown Southport, Inc., for ensuring the success of this inaugural event.

Individual pieces of the banner winners’ artwork will be offered for sale by the always-entertaining Auctioneer Ray Wycoff. Don’t miss this opportunity to own unique works of art created by some of the area’s most talented artists. A variety of disciplines will be represented and the competition, fierce, but an abundance of silent auction items are planned, too, so no one will go home empty-handed.

Tickets

General-entry tickets are $75, available online here and with cash or check at five retail outlets in Southport: Ricky Evans Gallery, the Wine Rack, Artisans Gallery on Howe, Franklin Square Gallery, and Uncorked by the Sea. The price of admission includes all refreshments, sales tax, and credit card fees. Online purchasers are responsible for Eventbrite’s ticket processing fees.

A limited number of table sponsorships are available with reserved seating for parties of eight, six, and four. In addition to admission, members of each group will receive table-side beer and wine service, swag bags, a group photograph, and recognition in the gala program and on social media.

Table sponsorships won't last long! They can be paid online here or by cash or check with notification to info@upyourarts.org. Payment is inclusive of sales tax and credit card fees, if applicable, but not Eventbrite's online ticket processing fees. You will receive a tax deduction acknowledgment for your sponsorship, less ticket values.

Silent Auction Donations

Individual tickets may be purchased separately for $75. All stated values are inclusive of sales tax and credit card fees, if applicable. Checks and cash are accepted. Online ticket sales and donations are subject to Eventbrite processing fees.

Gala proceeds will benefit Up Your Arts’ mission to promote and enhance creative and performing arts in the greater Southport area, including “Save the Hall, Y’all,” our campaign to create a community-based art center in downtown Southport.
