Moore Street Project

The Moore Street Project provides a way for visitors to appreciate art in the heart of downtown Southport. Artists gain exposure, recognition, and sales.
As seen in the movie Safe Haven, The Moore Street Market is a quintessential coastal small-town eatery with an ecclectic, funky vibe. From gourmet coffee to delicious breakfast and lunch, the Moore Street Market is a go-to place for visitors to downtown Southport.
But the Moore Street Market offers more than simply good food and drink. In collaboration with Up Your Arts, owners Andrew Laing and Bridget Reichhart have invited local artists to display their works for sale in a project called the Moore Street Project.
Currently, the work of 10 local artists has been selected for display, and Up Your Arts will periodically open submissions to rotate out the artworks.
